This maternity photoshoot is best suited for pregnant ladies in the last trimester.
How does the Maternity Photoshoot process work?
The process is designed to be simple and stress-free when having a maternity photo session with me. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you understand what to expect:
- Contact me to confirm availability: Contact me to check if I’m available on the date that works best for you. All photoshoots take place at our home studio located at 1 Hilltop Way, HA7 3DB, Stanmore, London. We operate by appointment only, and our hours are from Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Secure your booking: A £99 non-refundable retainer is required to secure your booking, which will be deducted from your final order.
- Choose your package: During the booking process, you can choose your preferred package. We’ll also have a phone consultation to discuss all the important details, such as clothing options, desired poses, and where and how you’d like to display your wall art.
- Preparation: On the day of the photoshoot, ensure you bring a skin tone or white and black lingerie set to match your chosen dresses. Also, bring an elegant/casual outfit for your loved ones if they will be joining you. Hair and makeup services are not included, so come prepared.
- The photoshoot: On the day of the shoot, I’ll ensure you have a relaxed and enjoyable experience as we capture the beauty and love of this special time in your life. I’ll work with you to create images that truly reflect who you are and your special bond with your baby.
- Final balance: Your balance will be due at the end of the session, and you can pay by card or cash.
- View your images: About 4-5 weeks after the photoshoot, you’ll have access to a private online gallery where you can view your fully edited images and select your favourites.
- Order additional products: Extra digital files, prints, and wall art can be purchased separately as a ‘la carte product.

It’s important to note that unedited images are not included in any packages and are unavailable for purchase.

It’s a time filled with joy, excitement, and a deep connection with the life growing inside you. A pregnancy photoshoot is a perfect way to celebrate and honour the incredible journey of motherhood.
As a maternity photographer, I aim to create stunning images that showcase the bond between you and your growing baby and celebrate your unique journey. I understand that being in front of the camera can be intimidating, and I strive to make you feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful during the photoshoot. I will work with you to create images that truly reflect who you are and your special bond with your baby.
It’s important to note that natural parts of the pregnancy, like stretch marks, weight gain, and swollen feet, are nothing to worry about. I will use my skills and expertise to accentuate your beauty and create images you will be proud to display and share with your loved ones for years to come.
The ideal time to book a maternity photoshoot is after your 20-week scan, with a minimum of 6-8 weeks before your desired date. The ideal time for the photoshoot is typically between 28 and 32 weeks of pregnancy when it is still comfortable to pose and the baby bump has a lovely shape. However, if you’re interested in a maternity photoshoot and are past this time frame, don’t hesitate to contact me. I may still be able to accommodate a last-minute booking.
Having your family present during the maternity photography session can create truly unique and intimate photos. Whether it’s a tender embrace with your partner or a playful interaction with your children or pets, these moments will be captured forever in your photos. So, it is highly recommended to bring your husband, partner, children, or pets to the photo shoot. They are a crucial part of your story, and their presence will add to the joy and magic of the experience.
Including the whole family in a maternity session also creates a wonderful opportunity for bonding and creating new memories together. The excitement and anticipation of the new arrival is a time to cherish, and having the whole family present for the photo shoot will create memories that will last a lifetime. I provide a variety of maternity gowns, delicate silks, and unique outfits for you to choose from in the client closet. To get the best results, I recommend bringing a skin-tone lingerie set or a white and black lingerie set that will match the dresses you choose. I aim to ensure that you feel comfortable and confident during the photoshoot, so you can focus on enjoying the experience. While I provide a range of elegant and stunning outfits, it’s important to bring a comfortable and casual outfit for your loved ones. Ultimately, I aim to provide everything you need for a successful pregnancy photoshoot, so you can relax and let the magic happen!
